I am interested in the relationship between the painting and the space where it is located, considering its capacity to suggest sensations of another spatiality in the viewer's mind.
I wonder about the image that is created in the mind of the observer from what is visible: the sequence of paintings, forms, elements, rhythm...
I am interested in the capacity of communication that a work has, how the energy it emanates remains more than our own presence, a sensation that a spectator can take away and that lasts in time.
I think of painting as a mental construction, or as the exercise of a writing, where each stroke of the brush stains the surface and leaves on it the movement, the course of the movements is the invention of that writing, the trace of a language prior to the language of words, even by the way of the water on the canvas, and above all by the color. In the same way that these forms and colors peek at the edges, play with them, they also go out into space, and this is the moment in which I find this process.
